  1. 60 days after completion of your degree.

  2. 9 years(1 year OPT, 2 years STEM OPT, 3 years H1-B, 3 year H1-B extension) If you are not a STEM major, you'll not get the 2-year STEP OPT period.

  1. After graduation, during the 1 year OPT, you have several options apart from paid full time jobs such as part time jobs related to your field (minimum 20 hours per week), internships (the total number of unemployment days in your OPT still cannot be more than 90, this is excluding the initial 60 days grace period), and lastly voluntary unpaid research work under a professor

  আমি ইউটিউব ঘেটে কিছুটা জানি।

  যেমন গ্রীনকার্ড পাওয়া কঠিন কিন্তু তারপর সিটিজেনশীপ পাওয়াটা সহজ( গ্রীনকার্ড পাওয়ার পর ৫ বছর ক্রাইম না করে থাকা লাগে) গ্রীনকার্ডের জন্য টাকা আর লইয়ার লাগে।

  চাকরি পেলে F2 ভিসা চেঞ্জ করে অন্য ভিসা নিতে হয়।

  1. You have the option for a 1 year OPT after degree completion and you can extend it to 2 more years if it's a STEM degree. The job will have to be related to your degree. You can apply for initial OPT within the 5-month period (from 90 days before degree completion to 60 days after it). If you don't have a job by then, you will have to leave the US.

  2. There is no cap on that. If you are on H1B, you will have 3+3 years. At anytime during this period, you can initiate your GC process. H1B can be extended beyond 6 years in certain situations.

  3. It depends on you. But you won't be eligible for certain jobs without the GC but those are fairly advanced or certain government positions.

  4. There are mostly two ways Bangladeshis acquire GC without family immigration. Those are EB2-NIW or EB2/3 PERM. In the first type, you will self petition. As it stands. It can take you around 1.5 yesrs. The latter is when an employer wants to sponsor and permanently hire you for a certain position. It can take around 3 years, more or less.

  5. If you are doing master's or OPT, you can bring your spouse with F2 visa. If you are on H1B, you can bring them with H4. Certain H4 are eligible to work.

  6. GC doesn't depend on lottery. Cap-subject H1B does. You only neee to be selected for once to work with it for 6 years. There are also cap-exempt H1B which are not subject to lotteries and can be fiiled any time. As long as your jobs are similar, you can switch employers anytime under H1B (given your new employer is willing to file an H1B petition for you).
